ACCUPUNCTURE

On the weekend of Thanksgiving November 2008, my daughter was cleaning her house, getting ready for the big day. She had planned to serve Thanksgiving dinner at her house. After cleaning, she was doing some stretches on the floor and her back mysteriously went out. She has hardly been able to sit, stand or walk since that time. We have visited all sorts of doctors and none can seem to find out what the problem is. She has seen chiropracters, rhuematologists, pain management, accupunturists. She has had x-rays and MRI’s, blood tests, bone scans, a Reiki master healing and a plether of all sorts of other tests. No one can seem to find out what the problem is. Recently, she was diagnosed with, Fibromyalgia, but that’s just a guess. Here is her latest endeavor, accupuncture.

Your positive thoughts and prayers will be deeply appreciated. I need my little girl to get well. A child’s pain is difficult for not only the child, no matter how old the child is but very difficult for a mother as well, because we FEEL their pain! Besides, I want her to have a quality life and believe me, this is NO LIFE. lying around on your left side or your right side all day and suffering in pain IS not a good life!

I was reading a book in Dr. Yang’s office. I was unaware that accupunture was good to treat everything from a bad back to a toothache to stop smoking to losing weight! It seems amazing. I can only hope this treatment will get her well!

I must say, I love Dr. Yang, he is a sweet, sensitive soul and a great doctor. He has written several books on accupuncture and has translated a few more. He works in about 10 clinics in Cincinnati and has worked for the Children’s hospital and a few other hospitals. He has wonderful creditials.

*** Oh, and if you wanna post a FUNNY video response to this, to make her laugh, that would be greatly appreciated too! She needs something to make her laugh. Dr. Yang said laughter is good for healing. Besides, it will give her something to do. Her husband hooked her computer up right next to her bed so she can surf the net. All she does is lie around watching t.v. all day. Before all this happened, she was going to school full time, making the Dean’s List, working two jobs and taking care of her husband and hanging out with her friends. She led a VERY active and FULL life and this, “doing nothing” all day is driving her insane!

Thanks in advance for your well wishes people!

“Get well, my baby girl!”

Love and Peace~

    She has only had …
She has only had three visits so far. We need to take her back for at least one more. Dr. Yang said sometimes it takes a few before you see any results. But she was able to walk a little better yesterday after the visit. I’ve always heard good things about accupuncture. She is only 30, so we need to try whatever there is available to get her well. Beisdes, all the meds the western docs have her on are making her ill.

did it help? I attend lots of people in my work as a paramedic and would be interested in your experience so that I can advise my patients. Currently the only advice I tend to give is a combination of Paracetamol, Ibuprofen and Diclofenac.

I felt like crap but drank a lot of water. I have a general better overall feeling but I still have a few more appt lined up.

My prayers for you both! I understand the pain of a mom when her children hurt! My Mom went for acupuncture to a doctor in NJ who is actually blind. Kind of scary, but he also had excellent credentials. His wife would bring him into the room and he took over from there. Good luck!
