    1. You should never use foil in your oven to protect it. This is a fire hazard.

    2. There was no mention of wearing gloves to protect your hands as most domestic cleaners can severly burn your skin.

    3. If you do use a domestic cleaner make sure that you wash the oven afterwards with clean water and kitchen tissue to ensure that all chemicals are removed from the oven.

    Yes yes I agree with you. They do have liners just for oven drips.
    I have been cleaning for over 20 years an I never use oven cleaner on self cleaning ovens. Thank you for adding your comment :)

    You can not use ovn cleaner on sel cleaning oven…They do make a drip liner for ovens. Or use heavy duty foil. The thin foil can fly up an burn.
